Trademark Pudel -

Marques Class 46
Puma.

English version

Marques Class 46 published interesting information about the so-called absurd or parody trademarks and related to them litigations between the companies.
One case concerns a lawsuit brought by Apple Germany against the manufacturer of household appliances Koziol which created a base for eggs resembling the iPod of Apple and called it the eiPott.
Another case concerns the attempt to register a trade mark PUDEL which resembles a mark Puma.
These disputes between the companies may sound funny but they show to what extent holders of well known trademarks protect their rights in order to prevent dilution of the image of their brands.
