Нова Зенландия се присъедини към Протокола относно мадридската спогодба - New Zealand acceded to the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement

WIPO оповести новината за присъединяването на Нова Зенландия към Протокола относно Мадридската спогодба за международна регистрация на марки.
Според документа:
- срокът за разглеждане на заявката от Патентното ведомство на страната и произнасяне на евентуален отказ е 18 месеца;
- В случай на подадена опозиция отказът може да бъде съобщен и след тези 18 месеца;

Протоколът влиза в сила за страната от 10.12.2012.

WIPO announced the news of New Zealand's accession to the Protocol relating to the Madrid Agreement concerning the International Registration of Marks.
According to the document:

-  in accordance with Article 5(2)(d) of the Madrid Protocol (1989), under Article 5(2)(b) of the Protocol, the time limit of one year to exercise the right to notify a refusal of protection referred to in Article 5(2)(a) thereof is replaced by 18 months and under Article 5(2)(c) of the said Protocol, when a refusal of protection may result from an opposition to the granting of protection, such refusal may be notified to the International Bureau after the expiry of the 18-month time limit;  

 The Protocol entered into force for the country on 10.12.2012.
