Антимонополните власти в САЩ и Европа дадоха разрешение за осъществяване на сделката с която Google купува Motorola Mobility за 12,5 милиарда долара.
Според властите в Европа сделката не засяга директно конкуренцията но въпреки това те си запазват правото в бъдеще да преразгледат ситуацията ако се окаже, че Google започне да злоупотребява с патентното портфолио, което придобива чрез Motorola. Това портфолио покрива и редица патенти засягащи Android, които се използва от редица компании за смарттелефони по света.
Държавите които все още не са дали зелена светлина на Google за сделката са Китай, Тайван и Израел.

Antitrust authorities in the U.S. and Europe have given permission for the deal in which Google buys Motorola Mobility for 12.5 billion dollars.
According to authorities in Europe the deal does not directly affect the competition but they reserve the right to further review the situation if it turns out that Google started to abuse with the patent portfolio that acquired by Motorola. This portfolio includes a number of patents covering Android which is used by many companies for smart phones worldwide.
States still have not given the green light to Google's deal are China, Taiwan and Israel.
