Marques Class 46 has reported the news of Lindt unsuccessful law case in Germany regarding the scope of protection of three-dimensional mark - a shape of a golden bunny.
The trial has been conducted for 12 years,and the winner is the competitor Riegelein.
This is the second bad news for the company, after that came down at the end of last year, when the Court in Cologne prohibited the sale of chocolate golden bears, following a request by Haribo, owner of a series of registered trademarks for bears, including the word mark "Goldbären" (Golden Bear).
