WIPO съобщава за присъединяването на Филипините към Мадридският протокол за международна регистрация на търговски марки. Протоколът влиза в сила за страната от 25 юли 2012.
Според подписания документ срока за експертиза на международна заявка за марка с посочване на Филипините е 18 месеца. Освен това се определят и индивидуални такси за посочване на страната.
С присъединяването на страната общия брой държави по Протокола става 85.

WIPO reported concerning the accession of the Philippines to the Madrid Protocol for international registration of trademarks. The protocol enters into force for the country on July 25, 2012.
According to the signed document the deadline for the examination of international trade mark with designation of the Philippines is 18 months. Furthermore, it is defined individual fees for the designation of the country in trademark applications.
With that accession the total number of countries under the Protocol becoming 85.
