Както знаем към днешна дата Република Хърватска и Европейския съюз водят преговори за присъединяването на страната към Общността.
Една част от процедурата по присъединяване е свързана и с интелектуалната собственост, по специално тук става дума за географските означения.
Списък от 30 географски означения за вино и спиртни напитки от Хърватска са били подадени към Европейската комисия за съгласуване и одобрение. Целта е след това те да бъдат признати на територията на ЕС.
Списъкът може да бъде открит тук.
ЕК се обръща към всяка трета страна членка на ЕС или към отделно заинтересовано лице, за възражение срещу признаването на тези географски означения. Възражението трябва да бъде обосновано и подкрепено с ясно посочени твърдения и претенции.
Европейската комисия предоставя срок от 2 месеца за подаване на възражения, които могат да бъдат пращани на този адрес - AGRI-B2@ec.europa.eu
Разглеждайки списъкът с посочени означения за вина и спиртни напитки, две от тях правят впечатление тъй като имат лека прилика с географско наименование в България- Dalmatinska zagora ( за думата Загора) и Zagorje – Međimurje ( също за думата Загора).

As we know the Republic of Croatia and the European Union negotiate for accession of the country to the Community.
One part of the accession procedure is associated with intellectual property, particularly here it refer to geographical indications.
A list of 30 geographical indications for wine and spirits from Croatia have been submitted to the European Commission for coordination and approval. The aim is after that they can be recognized within the EU.
The list can be found here.
The Commission invites any third Member State or a single interested party to object to the recognition of these geographical indications if there are any reasons for that. The objection must be justified and supported by clearly stated assertions and claims.
The European Commission provides a period of two months to lodge objections that can be sent to this address - AGRI-B2@ec.europa.eu
Looking down the list of indications for wines and spirits, two of them made an impression because they have a slight resemblance to the geographical name in Bulgaria - Dalmatinska zagora (about the word Zagora) and Zagorje - Međimurje (also about the word Zagorje).
