How to make PR of intellectual property?
English version
Large multinational corporations have developed their field of activity called PR long time ago.
More interesting is how the PR starts to communicate with intellectual property and why companies might benefit from this.
In today's dynamic economy aimed at developing new and innovative technologies, IBM showed how to do PR based on intellectual property and how it can contribute to the good image of a company.
In the following short video IBM introduced the passion of his employees to innovate.
Such PR practice is very important and even valuable. The IP material and its benefits are not sufficiently understood by the general public even for most companies. I think that in IP management should be set up a separate direction called IP PR, which to helps for cteating of interest concerning this matter.

USPTO and EPO have agreed conserning a new patent classification - USPTO

English version
Patentdocs reported the news that the U.S. Patent Office (USPTO) and European Patent Office (EPO) have agreed on the introduction of a new patent classification to unify the differences between the current classifications and to facilitate maximum applicants on both sides of the ocean.
The new classification will be called Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC). It will be built based on the International Patent Classification, European Patent Classification and the best aspects of U.S. Patent Classification.
According to the USPTO and EPO the new classification system is a step towards the creation of the Common Hybrid Classification, which is one of the main tasks set by the Five IP Offices (IP) designed to enhance harmonization of activities of various patent offices worldwide.
